Sports and Activities at La Manga Club

The La Manga Club has top-class sporting facilities: championship-standard golf courses, tennis and squash courts, and even an internationally-renowned football academy.

There are three 18-hole golf courses at La Manga club, a par 47 pitch-and-putt course and extensive practice facilities including a golf academy, 80 floodlit practice bays, two putting greens and a sand practice/pitching area. The palm-lined South Course is the longest, being a championship course with well-placed water and sand eager to punish errant shots.

The North Course also requires care - accuracy rather than length is needed to score well here. Pine trees line the fairways of the West Course, where thoughtful club selection and good course management is rewarded. Soft spikes are needed for each course.

Tennis and squash
With 28 floodlit courts, La Manga is the perfect venue for a tennis holiday. Coaching at the tennis academy can help you to reach your potential, whatever your starting point. Two glass-backed squash courts are also to be found at the tennis centre, along with two paddle-tennis courts, a bowling green and a climbing wall. The children's club is also here.

Many famous professional football clubs visit La Manga for training weeks. Guests at La Manga Club are welcome to watch coaching sessions and friendly matches. A five-day football academy is available for children of all ages and abilities. Coaching sessions will help to improve skills and confidence.

Horse riding
Whether you are interested in trekking or taking riding lessons, you will have an enjoyable experience in the La Manga area. Treks cover a variety of terrain, from sandy beach to the orange and lemon groves of the Murcian hills. Both adult and child riders can be catered for.
